Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan
said that Armenia sees digital development as one of the key directions of
sustainable growth. He made the remarks at the Eurasian Economic Forum in
Minsk, which he participated in online.
"We are convinced that it is
digitalization that opens up new opportunities in the economy, public
administration system and social sphere.
Armenia has already implemented an
architecture of interagency cooperation, thanks to which state bodies do not
duplicate information, but rather gain access to original sources through
secure communication channels. This has made it possible to create integrated
digital services that combine all stages of service provision into a single,
transparent and user-friendly process.
Such an approach creates new opportunities
for the formation of a unified digital environment.
Today, Armenia is a country that offers
complex technological solutions and services.
Systematic work is underway in Armenia
towards digitalization, e-government systems are being improved, citizens'
digital literacy is improving, and modern cybersecurity mechanisms are being
developed.
NVIDIA's recent decision to open a research center in Armenia confirms that "Even small countries with ambition and technical maturity can play an important role in the global technological ecosystem," Pashinyan said.
