EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Cosma has proposed the creation of a quadrilateral format – Armenia-Azerbaijan-Turkey-EU, which would work on transport issues. As Armenpress reports, Cosma made this statement at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kala.

“We started discussing this topic in October. Today I asked the Minister to present Armenia’s priorities on the transport connectivity agenda, and then we will discuss them together,” said Marta Cosma.

The sixth meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Council is underway in Brussels. During the meeting, Armenia and the European Union signed a new Strategic Partnership Agenda. The document was signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kalas.
