Alliance Multimodal CEO Natig Jafarov at the Black & Caspian Freight Forum 2025.

During his keynote speech in Baku, Natig Jafarov outlined Azerbaijan’s growing role as a bridge between Asia and Europe and highlighted the transformation of the Middle Corridor from an alternative into a vital artery of global trade.

Key points from his speech:

➡️ Global shocks — COVID, Suez Canal blockage, the war in Ukraine, Red Sea disruptions — exposed supply chain fragility.
➡️ Azerbaijan’s strategic infrastructure (Port of Baku, upgraded railways, and the future Zangezur Corridor) positions the country as a hub of Eurasian connectivity.
➡️ The Middle Corridor has evolved from a “crisis route” into a reliable, resilient solution
supported by governments, investors, and logistics companies.

Mr. Jafarov also showcased Alliance Multimodal’s projects:
• Poti TransTerminal in Georgia
• Break-Bulk Express Service on the Caspian
• Upcoming Ro-Ro fleet expansion

“The Middle Corridor is no longer a concept — it is a reality. Together with governments, investors, and private companies, we are building not only resilience, but also new opportunities for global trade.” — Natig Jafarov.
