After Turkey and Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan has
also started transporting international cargo with Kyrgyzstan using the
electronic permit form e-Permit. According to the Azerbaijan Land Transport
Agency (AYNA), a truck belonging to a Kyrgyz transport company has arrived in
Azerbaijan, transporting transit cargo on the Georgia-Kyrgyzstan route.
Azerbaijan has also issued electronic
permit forms for its vehicles, which will soon start transporting international
cargo to Kyrgyzstan. In the coming days, it is planned to start transporting
bilateral international cargo using electronic permits via the
Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan route.
"Work is underway to expand the use of electronic and digital technologies. Azerbaijan is successfully using digital technologies in the field of international road cargo transportation. This process, among other things, includes the digitalization of permit forms exchanged with countries on a bilateral basis," the agency said in a statement.
