Continental Port
Connecting different situations requires courage. The pole of such circumstances is the future port of Anaklia. The relevant decision in determining the governor of the port would be the Georgian stock exchange independent from the state. through which Georgian citizens and Georgian companies would become the owners of the privileged shares of the port of Anaklia. If we were to consider the participation of foreign countries in the construction of the port, the diversification of investor countries in this challenge would be the conclusion of the formula for Georgia's security and economic growth.
Lithuania, which owns the port of Klaipeda in the Baltic Sea and is connected to the Black Sea by the Viking route; South Korea, which has a high rate of industrialization; and Qatar, which is the technological leader of the Arab world, the Anaklia port, which is jointly owned by these three countries, would create a triangle of global trade interests and a cornerstone of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transit corridors.
"The Occident (West) and the Orient (East) must be united on Georgian soil, their harmonious fusion", - Konstantine Gamsakhurdia, Georgian writer.
Grigol Robakidze draws attention to Western Europe - "Western Europe is precious, but we cannot give up the East for Europe, it would be better to have their wedding here, with Georgian feast".
Since Grigol Robakidze believes that Western Europe is precious, it would be a much bigger step for Georgia today if the Anaklia project was made in partnership with Great Britain and high-tech Japan. Because the London and Tokyo stock exchanges are the leading financial centers of the continent.
The higher the share of developed countries in port and railway infrastructure, the greater the interests of other countries' manufacturers to operate through such transit arteries in global trade. Therefore, the closer the number of producers and consumers are to each other, the richer the country. Akhalkalaki railway and Anaklia sea ports, with a powerful logistics center and industrial park, are the main meeting places for European and Asian producers and consumers.
Another Georgian writer, Akaki Shanidze, mentions Gurji-Boghazi in his poem as a proof of why Akhalkalaki railway station occupies an important place in continental trade. Gurji-Boghazi - this was the main road coming from the Turkish city of Erzurum to Georgia, which will connect Georgia even further, with Egypt.
