International Logistics Exhibition and Forum to be Held in Tbilisi

2026-02-17

On March 12-13, Expo-Georgia will host the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition. With the support of TBC, the event will be held for the second time, and the organizers of the conference are Expo-Georgia and the consulting company Savvy. The goal of the international exhibition and forum is to support and develop a strategically important sector. The event will bring together local and international logistics companies, representatives of ports and railways, air carriers, investment and financial institutions, as well as import-export-oriented businesses.

The two-day forum will discuss such important issues for the sector as: the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor, the development of the Zangezur route, the challenges of the sector, investment opportunities and the dynamics of the development of digital logistics.

The logistics sector is one of the strategic directions of the Georgian economy. The geographical location makes the country an important connecting link between Europe and Asia, which increases the transit potential and directly affects economic activity. The sector's share in GDP exceeds 6% and has been characterized by stable growth in recent years.

“Logistics is an important strategic direction for TBC - the sector unites businesses that work on export, ensure import and strengthen Georgia's role in regional trade. By supporting such events, we create a platform for dialogue, sharing experience and new partnerships, which contributes to the sustainable and long-term development of the sector. As a financial partner, we actively support our clients in infrastructure projects, business expansion and the introduction of modern technologies. As a result, TBC's portfolio in the logistics sector has grown by 74% in the last 3 years and amounts to 436 million GEL”, - Giorgi Darchiashvili, Director of the Large and Medium Corporate Clients Service Department at TBC.
