It is important for diversifying routes, improving access to Central Asia - but the Middle The corridor should connect two sides - Europe and Asia. I don't know where Georgia should be in this equation, which side should it be on? Should it be somewhere in the middle? The further it gets away from Europe, the more difficult it will be for European private and official capital to participate in financing the needs of the middle corridor," the ambassador says.

As for the South Caucasus tour of US Vice President J.D. Vance, in which Georgia was not included, and the TRIPP ("Trump's route") factor, the ambassador assesses it this way: "We see great interest from the United States. This too will not happen tomorrow - a lot of work and a lot of investment are needed - but people who are knowledgeable in logistics say that the more routes there are, the better. But nothing changes the fact that there will be a route without Georgia. If I were representing Georgia, I would rush to strengthen my ties. I think this is also competition," Fischer said.
