The idea of the Iron Silk Road

Today in Georgia, everyone is talking about everything - "politicians", "businessmen" or "experts", except for the Iron Silk Road and the 9 points of Europe. All of China and all of Europe prefer international cargo transportation by rail. In Georgia, they talk about the Middle Corridor, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway seems to pass through the Emirates, and not through the territory of Georgia. The idea of a railway connecting Georgia with Europe through Abkhazia and Crimea is a prospect for at least a decade. They are also talking about the Anaklia port, which does not exist and will not exist until the "9 points" set by Europe for Georgia are fulfilled, until the construction of the Black Sea Green Cable is completed, and until the Akhalkalaki logistics center, determined by the World Bank's November 2023 report, is fully loaded. Akhalkalaki logistics center should serve 17 million tons of cargo and 5 million passengers annually from Asia to Europe and vice versa.
