On May 19, 2016, the Egyptian ambassador to Georgia, Tarek Maat, said: "Georgia is a very promising market due to its location, you also have an association agreement. We hope to reach other markets through the Georgian market, we encourage Egyptian investors to invest in your country. I know that there is a political will for this. I received an assignment from the President of Egypt to work in this regard..."
In October 2016, Enders Wimbush, a member of the American Broadcasting Council, said: "Georgia is a country where the important interests of many big countries intersect. Georgia's potential on the Silk Road is also related to this. I think Georgia can be a center for all countries involved in the project. If Georgia acts quickly, the profit will be very big and all this will accelerate the development of the country. The government must make big decisions quickly."
The Ambassador of Norway to Georgia, Helene Sand Andresen, said in an interview in January 2023: "Georgia has a very favorable position in the region; It has ports on the Black Sea and free trade agreements with the European Union and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Investing in road, rail and port infrastructure is sound economic policy and should continue. Georgia should strengthen the implementation of green energy projects, including in the hydropower sector, which has the greatest potential. All this, together with enhanced regional trade and increased physical connectivity, including through the Black Sea electricity transmission line, would create attractive economic opportunities for Georgia. The role of Georgia as a connecting corridor with Europe for the South Caucasus, Central Asia and more widely would be strengthened. If Georgia includes both of its neighbors, Azerbaijan and Armenia, in this effort, it will make a significant contribution to regional peace. It is important that Georgia has an inclusive policy in terms of regional cooperation".
