"Georgian Railway" is a company of strategic importance for the country, 100% of which is owned by the Georgian Partnership Fund. The company consists of three business units: infrastructure, freight and passenger.
JSC "Georgian Railways" constantly takes care of the attraction of new cargoes and the safety of their transportation, improvement of passenger services, modernization of infrastructure and implementation of modern management systems.
In 2015, the company was awarded the international management quality certificate ISO 9001:2008, and in 2017, ISO 9001:2015. JSC "Georgian Railways" is the largest employer of the country, more than 12,000 people are employed in the company.
